Other contractor quoted $20k+ for new system, as our system is 20 years old. We have impeccably maintained it, so we felt it really wasn't ready for a complete replacement. My gut was screaming at me, so I called MV Heating & Air for a 2nd opinion because they had exceptional reviews on Yelp. Daniel quickly found the capacitor for the compressor fan was toast. He replaced it and the unit works great again. He did a full check of everything and we checked out good. We hope to get maybe another 3-5 years out of it, and then we'll replace it. Guess who will be getting that call? 😁
